Warm Water Pool Safety Tips Aquatics, News & Events

The multi-use warm pool is designed to support a variety of member’s needs.  All members are expected to work together to create and maintain a safe, comfortable environment. Please remember that disruptions to the member experience and acts deemed unsafe by Center staff may be subject to a revocation of swimming privileges and/or membership access.   Please also note that water exercisers are welcome in the lap pool, where lane sharing is required except in lane 3 (new reservation system information here).

  • Please be aware of your surroundings. You should always be able to see who is in your path of exercise to avoid contact with others.

  • Jumping or diving in the warm pool is prohibited. Please use the main stairway or ladder to enter the pool.

  • Please be mindful of the water turbulence created by your workout when others are in the warm pool.

  • Tennis and other street shoes are not permitted in any pools in the Center.
  • Caregivers are welcome to assist you in the pools. Caregivers who wish to exercise must purchase a membership.

  • Glass and sharp objects are prohibited in the pools and Center. Please refrain from eating in the pool areas. Drinks must be in a plastic/metal container that seals.

  • Please return water weights, belts, tubes, etc to storage locations to avoid tripping hazards.

Thank you for your help with creating a safe and enjoyable swimming environment for all!
