About

The event is an opportunity for dog owners to stay healthy and active by spending a fun day walking their dog(s) in the park. (For those who are more adventurous you can also walk/bike down the San Luis Ray Trail to the beach for a 7.2 mile walk one-way).

Who Benfits

Proceeds benefit the Tri-City Hospital Auxiliary to raise funds for the Tri-City Medical Center’s Pet Therapy Program and scholarships for the Junior Volunteers, the Special Care Foundations for Companions Animals for cancer research, Tender Loving Canine Assistance Dogs for Wounded Warriors, and the Oceanside and Carlsbad K-9 units for dog training and supplies. Our goal is to support these worthy organizations in North San Diego County and Love on the Leash North County.

Tri-City Hospital Auxiliary

Our Volunteers contribute so much to Tri-City Medical Center. We have a dynamic team of over 450 active volunteers ranging in ages from 15-90 + who generously share their time and expertise in over 40 areas at the medical center and off campus locations. They enrich our hospital experience by providing valuable support services for our patients, families, visitors, staff, and assist the medical center in  its mission of promoting the health and well-being of the community.
