Personal Trainer/ Medical Integration Instructor
Tommy is a caring and compassionate individual with a unique talent for connecting with others.
He believes that the relationship he had with his Grandmother while living with her played a significant role in cultivating a thoughtful respect for seniors.
Tommy received a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Health Science from Cal State San Marcos. He is also certified through the American College of Sports Medicine as Certified Exercise Physiologist. In his final semester, he was fortunate enough to participate in an internship alongside our Medical Integration Program Manager, Susan Webster. It was through Susan Webster and her Cancer Fitness Program that he was inspired to help individuals use exercise, camaraderie, and positivity as a medium for overcoming adversity and achieving active solutions. Tommy is currently working as a Personal Trainer, and facilitates our Medical Integration Cardio Program in addition to programs such as Lucky 13, and Step by Step for individuals diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease.
As an active individual, Tommy has developed a passion for hiking, camping, climbing, and soccer. As a local native, surfing has also played an important part of his life. He has had the opportunity to conduct research on surfing as a sport. Through his experiences camping and traveling along the west coast he has cultivated a deep appreciation for the outdoors.
