Melanee is a very encouraging and intuitive fitness enthusiast who knows how to discover her client’s needs while at the same time carefully pushing them to their edge! She considers herself a well-informed, sound, no “non-sense” kind of personal trainer- using the latest research to back-up what she says.

Melanee’s wellness/fitness journey began as a young teen who struggled with body-image and self-confidence, but through participating in a variety of sports, primarily competitive gymnastics (6+ yrs), her confidence developed into a passion for holistic wellness, not only fitness.  She became a Certified Primary Group Exercise Instructor and began teaching a variety of formats in college.

Melanee is extremely experienced in both group and one-on-one training. She has been a Lead Running Coach for the Lucky 13 Half-Marathon Training program since 2011. Melanee has dedicated herself to training and motivating exercisers of all levels, infusing her passion to educate while empowering her clients as well. She particularly enjoys working with novice exercisers, anyone with special limitations or circumstances; focus areas such as low back pain, joint replacement rehabilitation and metabolic diseases to name a few. Her athletic training internship at CSU San Marcos gave her a high-level of knowledge & experience with training athletes that have sports specific goals.
