Personal Trainer/Assistant Fitness Director
Makena is a joyful and motivated individual who has a natural ability and passion for assisting everyone improve his or her quality of life. She has had extraordinary hands on experience working alongside people with various health conditions and fitness aspirations.
One of Makena’s favorite aspects of personal training is hearing people’s unique life stories, and then designing effective programs specialized for their capabilities, needs and goals. Either training on land or in the Hydroworx pool, she enjoys focusing on core strengthening, weight loss, muscle toning and conditioning, flexibility, improving stability/balance, post rehabilitation, or any other form of specialized training.
Every step of the way she strives to give each person the encouraging push and motivation needed, while creating a safe, challenging, and efficient environment. Makena’s overall passion is to help her client’s realize not only the importance of living a healthy active lifestyle, but also that it is achievable and can be fun!
