
Elizabeth has taught Pilates for 12 years, 9 of those at Tri-City. She has a background in yoga and dance and believes that Pilates is a profound exercise technique for strengthening and balancing the human body for all ages. She has been developing the Gentle Pilates concept at Tri-City for the past 2 years, which is modified instruction for mature adults, beginners, and those recovering from injury or illness. Elizabeth has recently received her certification in Tai Chi. She has been integrating those principles into her Gentle Pilates concept to better serve those who participate in her classes. Originally from Oklahoma, she resides in San Diego near her three daughters and grandchildren, and also teaches English at local San Diego colleges
