CJ Addison

Aquatics Coordinator

CJ Addison is an Aquatic Fitness Professional who has helped hundreds of her clients and class participants obtain great results by utilizing the water. Her passion to help people and her expertise in the Aquatic arena make her a natural coach you enjoy being around.  She completed a year long Fitness Specialist Program in 2008 and 2014, a minimum of 352 hours each year. CJ has been mentored by some of the finest Fitness Professionals in the business; Lisa Garrity, MA Ed., CSCS and Faith Overton, PTA.

Her oldest client is 105 and her youngest is 3 years old. She has worked with and trained triathletes, paraplegics, quadriplegics, people with autism, and hip, knee and shoulder replacements, back injuries and those that have had a stroke. CJ has also trained the Wounded Warriors. She believes she can help anyone if they are willing to get in the water.

CJ has been teaching a land-based Parkinson’s group in Cardiff for 6 years and has worked with many other clients on land exercises, balance, agility, nutrition, core strength and mindfulness. She believes one of her greatest achievements was teaching a person to swim that not only had a fear of the water, but also had been a quadriplegic for over 30 years. They even learned to do a flip turn!

CJ loves to help others and has a plethora of resources. Her next task is to become certified with the Aquatic Therapy and Rehab Institute.
