About Tri-City Wellness & Fitness Center

Updated April  13, 2021: Tri-City Medical Center and Active Wellness have determined in partnership that operations at the Tri-City Wellness & Fitness Center will remain suspended for an indefinite period of time. Tri-City Medical Center is acutely focused on patient care and our readiness to accommodate the local community given the evolving health crisis. This remains our highest priority, and because of this, the Wellness & Fitness Center will remain in a period of hibernation.

As you know, the impact of the pandemic on society over the past thirteen months has been wide-spread. Over that time, Tri-City Healthcare District’s efforts have been dedicated to continuing their mission “to advance the health and wellness of the community (they) serve”—with tremendous focus on caring for community members who are afflicted with COVID-19 and other illnesses and injuries, while also vaccinating the highest risk patients and members of our community.

Recently, as our region has emerged from the latest spike in COVID-19 positive hospital admissions, areas of our community have begun to reopen with limited capacity. Tri-City Healthcare District and Active Wellness continue to monitor those developments, as well as changes to federal, state and county guidelines—along with information about new COVID-19 variants and potential future surges. Above all, the health and safety of our members and staff remain paramount, along with the protection of public health and sustainability of Tri-City Healthcare District.

Given these considerations, we do not see a scenario in which the Tri-City Wellness & Fitness Center can safely reopen at this time. As such, all memberships remain suspended and no dues are being charged. Members will also continue to have access to complimentary virtual programs and online resources here to support your health and well-being. Collectively, we remain committed and focused on helping you live the healthiest lives possible, both now and in the future.

On behalf of the teams at Tri-City Healthcare District and Active Wellness, we want to thank this entire membership community and those of you who have expressed your care and concern for the future of the Tri-City Wellness & Fitness Center. We appreciate you and hope you will continue to take good care of yourselves and loved ones.

We will continue to monitor developments with the pandemic and will communicate any changes here. Further inquiries and support requests may be directed to theteam@tricitywellness.com.
