In the month of September many of our children were requesting to use the
“Magna Tiles”. Magna Tiles are fun 3-D Building Magnetic Tiles. Children create their
own ideas about their building process with the tiles. One child decided he wanted to
make a spider. Also, the children wanted to make a castle that was taller than one of the child care attendants. They kept adding to the top until they could see that it was taller.
The process helps children learn to collaborate together as a team, wait their turns, counting, matching, stacking and building.
Starting Friday, November 8, to spread some cheer as the holidays approach the children are invited to write a letter or color a picture to send to a hero. All members are welcome to submit a note of thanks to the child care desk by Monday 11.11.19.
November 11th we start taking reservations for Thanksgiving week for “All” Children (AM & PM). Thanksgiving Day we are open until 12 noon only.
