Dear Valued Member,

We hope this finds you safe and well. We’re reaching out to share a status update regarding the Tri-City Wellness & Fitness Center.
As you know, the impact of the pandemic on society over the past thirteen months has been wide-spread. Over that time, Tri-City Healthcare District’s efforts have been dedicated to continuing their mission “to advance the health and wellness of the community (they) serve”—with tremendous focus on caring for community members who are afflicted with COVID-19 and other illnesses and injuries, while also vaccinating the highest risk patients and members of our community.
Recently, as our region has emerged from the latest spike in COVID-19 positive hospital admissions, areas of our community have begun to reopen with limited capacity. Tri-City Healthcare District and Active Wellness continue to monitor those developments, as well as changes to federal, state and county guidelines—along with information about new COVID-19 variants and potential future surges. Above all, the health and safety of our members and staff remain paramount, along with the protection of public health and sustainability of Tri-City Healthcare District.
Given these considerations, we do not see a scenario in which the Tri-City Wellness & Fitness Center can safely reopen at this time. We will continue to monitor developments with the pandemic and will communicate with you again by late summer. As such, all memberships remain suspended and no dues are being charged.
As their management partner, we at Active Wellness continue to support Tri-City Healthcare District in their efforts to best serve the community. We’re also offering you continued access to our virtual resources, including live-streaming classes and on-demand workouts from across the Active Wellness partner network, as well as other resources to support your health and well-being. Please find more information on those here.
We will continue to communicate closely with Tri-City Healthcare District and will share any updates with you as soon as they become available. Should you have any questions, you may contact us at
On behalf of the teams at Tri-City Healthcare District and Active Wellness, we want to thank this entire membership community and those of you who have expressed your care and concern for the future of the Tri-City Wellness & Fitness Center. We appreciate you and hope you will continue to take good care of yourselves and loved ones.

With gratitude,
