Wellness Programs
Tri-City Wellness Center’s Wellness Programs are designed specifically for individuals living with, recovering from or trying to avoid a variety of health issues. Our team of wellness professionals will provide you with a supervised exercise program to help you reach your goals and live a healthier lifestyle. All programs include exercise guidance, nutritional education, and strategies for behavior modification.
Young at Heart
Young at Heart is a group led exercise program specifically designed for the older adult population for people with a history of heart issues. This program will help you to develop a physically independent lifestyle by building sufficient muscular fitness and enhancing ones ability to perform activities of daily living. If needed, a physician’s clearance is needed and will be obtained by the fitness staff.
Orthopedic Fitness: Next Step
The Next Step program is for those who have just completed physical therapy and want to continue to work with a certified professional that will direct a personalized exercise program to keep you on the path to full recovery and prevent re-injury.
Orthopedic Fitness: Prehab A
The Prehab A program is for those who are scheduled for, contemplating having, or are trying to avoid knee surgery.
Orthopedic Fitness: Prehab B (Water exercise)
The Prehab B program is for those who are scheduled for, contemplating having, or are trying to avoid knee surgery, but prefer to exercise in a pool.
Diabetes Exercise
The Diabetes Exercise program is for those who have been diagnosed with diabetes or pre-diabetes. An education class led by a Certified Diabetes Educator is required as a prerequisite.
Weight Management
Our Weight Management program is for those who want to learn how to lose weight and keep it off. The weight management program includes one-on-one training sessions. Participants will receive a 10% discount on Optimal Nutrition meal services.
